Help the Kekekabic Trail Chapter build new trail!

We will car/tent camp at KoWaKan Adventures base camp, located about 20 minutes east of Ely on Fernberg Rd. Take a right on Old County Road 18 and drive 5 minutes to Section 12 on Lake Rd (dead end).

Thursday we will gather for supper and socialization at the base camp. Friday-Sunday, we will commute via hike or portage to the work site. Sunday volunteers will wrap up when needed to travel home. Sawyer and a brush cutter will clear the corridor for the swampers. Volunteers will follow the swamper, roughing the tread in, and volunteers will finish the tread.

Crew leaders will provide a light breakfast, sandwich fixings for lunch on the trail, and a cooked supper.

Expect little to no cell service, filtering lake water, and roughing it in unpredictable weather.
