In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the National Park Service is excited to announce Along the Trail, a virtual speaker series created for the dedicated trail community. This series brings together voices from across the trail’s landscapes to explore the rich nature and history that defines both the trail and the nation it traverses.

Join via Zoom on Wednesday, September 9 at 7 pm EST for the third event in the series led by a ranger from Copper Falls State Park in Mellen, WI

“Ancient lava flows, deep gorges and spectacular waterfalls make Copper Falls State Park one of Wisconsin’s most scenic parks. Log buildings built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s add to the park’s charm. The park offers camping, hiking, bicycling, picnicking, fishing and swimming opportunities in Loon Lake. The 1.7-mile Doughboy’s Nature Trail, along the Bad River, is one of the best hikes in Wisconsin.”
