It’s almost that time again for NCT supporters to reach the masses this coming weekend via Midwest Mountaineering’s Outdoor Adventure Expo in Minneapolis, MN. Here are some highlights of this Expo:
- 2013 North Country Trail thru-hiker Luke “Strider” Jordan will be a featured presenter and will give his first ever public presentation about his recently completed trek. Luke’s presentation will be held on Sunday, November 24th at 11am at the Humphrey Center’s Cowles Auditorium on the U of M campus.
- Rudi Hargesheimer will be offering a A Superior Backpacking Sampler … and Art! presentation on Saturday, November 23rd at 10:30am in Room 103 of the U of M’s Hanson Hall. Rudi’s program will feature the NCT in WI and MI and the Superior Hiking Trail along with other trails.
- Matthew Davis, NCTA’s Regional Trail Coordinator will be giving a presentation on The North Country Trail in ND, MN, WI and the UP: What’s new in our neighborhood on the nation’s longest hiking trail? on Saturday, November 23rd at 3:30pm at the Expedition Stage at Midwest Mountaineering. - Stop by the Kekekabic Trail Club, Border Route Trail Association, and NCTA booth and the Superior Hiking Trail Association’s booth under the tent to ask your questions about these awesome hiking opportunities.
