The Laurentian Lakes Chapter is also currently looking for adopters for five trail sections in Becker County north of Greenwater Lake Scientific Natural Area and south of Elbow Lake Rd.  For more information, contact Ray Vlasak or Chuck Church at llc@northcountrytrail.org.

The Itasca Moraine Chapter is also looking for an adopter for the following section:

  • Steamboat Forest RD to Hubbard Co. Hwy 4

The Chapter is also in need of trailhead kiosk adopters.  These folks visit trailhead kiosks on a regular basis to make sure that the brochure holders are full of Chapter, NCTA, and NPS brochures and that the trail register book is still there with a pen.  They may also choose to read through the register to identify any problems reported by trail users.   For more information, contact Jerry Trout, trail adopter coordinator at jbtrout@tds.net or (218) 675- 5448.
