August Trail Work Day
Come and give back to the trail and enjoy the company of fellow hikers. The Allegheny National Forest Chapter will be doing some mowing and trimming, along with a few small projects. We might also still have areas left to clear from the aftermath of the June 14 storm.
Trail work Date and Time: 10:00 AM EDT on Saturday, August 8th
Location: We’ll meet at the Amsler Springs Trailhead. The Trailhead is located along Salmon Creek Rd, FR 145, about 1 ¼ miles north of Guitonville Rd.

Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, and bring your own water, food, and work gloves. All tools are provided and no special skills are needed.
We encourage people who are new to trail work to come out and give back to the trail. There will be a job for you and a person to teach you what to do. Remember that “many hands make light work”. Hope to see you there!
