Join the Spirit of the Woods Chapter for the August Hike on Saturday, August 1.

Our hike will begin at the 8th Street road crossing near Milepost 293. This is east of the Timber Creek trailhead and just north of U.S. 10.

NOTE: It is recommended to access 8th Street from the east off of Mac Road because of soft and sandy road conditions coming from the west. Carpooling is recommended as parking is limited to a small cleared area with the option of parking on the side of the (unpaved) road.

This north-bound, out-and-back hike will be about 6 miles, or more or less, as you desire.  We can discuss distances at the hike start. Please be sure to bring water on the hike.

Peg Gramas will be the hike leader.
