Leaf Peeper Hike!
Join the Allegheny National Forest Chapter to enjoy the beautiful fall foliage and stately hemlocks along Hemlock Run, Chappel Bay, and Chappel Run. 
Location: Rt 321 Chappel Bay Trailhead – The trailhead is located about 4.3 miles south of RT 59 and about 6 miles north of the Forest Service Red Bridge Campground.
We will be shuttling up to the RT 59 Trailhead to hike 6.7 miles back to Chappel Bay Trailhead.
Please come prepared for the hike dressed in appropriate layers for the weather, and carrying your own food and water. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome. Hope to see you there!
Save the Dates for these Fall Hikes:
– Saturday, November 14th – LATE FALL HIKE – TBA.
– Sunday, December 13th – FROSTY HIKE – Meeting at Rt 6 Trailhead. If the weather we will shuttle to Red Bridge and hike back (7.4 miles) or we can do an out and back hike to the north from Rt 6.
– Friday, Jan 1st – FIRST DAY HIKE – Meeting at Rt 66 Trailhead and hiking out and back to Coon Creek (6.2 miles) and/or Amsler Springs (11.2 miles).
