Get Outdoors! Come join the Ni-Miikanaake Chapter (based in Ironwood) for an adventure hiking from Conglomerate Falls to Black River Harbor.

The hike is approximately 4.4 miles and considered moderate. This area of Black River Falls has been under construction for needed upgrades since May. We will have a few deviations from the trail to roads or through the campground. Come prepared with plenty of water, a snack, bug spray, sunscreen etc. Get ready for fun, adventure and beautiful scenery! The Ni-Miikanaake Chapter is looking forward to greeting you.

We’ll be meeting at the Conglomerate Falls Trailhead on Black River Road:

• From Bessemer: take US 2 to Powderhorn Rd north. When you come to the T in the road take a left turn onto Black River Rd. All of the waterfalls are along this road which is approximately 14 miles ending in the only Harbor & Marina operated by the USDA Forest Service in the lower 48 states.
• From Ironwood: take Cloverland Dr. (US 2) turn left from the east and right from the west onto North Lake St. then right on Airport Rd and at the T left onto Black River Rd.
