Community Hike Followed by Potluck and Chapter Meeting
Come hike the Presque Isle waterfall loop with the Ni-Miikanaake Chapter in the Porkies on Sunday, Aug 8th.
We’ll meet at the pavilion at the Presque Isle Day Area at 10am CST.
The hike is about 2.2 miles, and features views of the waterfalls on the lower Presque Isle River. We will work around the minor construction on the west side of the Waterfall Loop. The trail is mostly well-maintained, with some boardwalks and stairs. Be sure to bring bug-repellant and water.
We’ll have a potluck and chapter meeting afterward, starting about 11:30am CST. You are welcome to come to the meeting even if you do not wish to hike.
Though we encourage all who join us for outings to become members and support the NCT, if you aren’t yet a member you are still welcome to join us and see what we’re all about!
