Untitled design

The Hike 100 Challenge is under way and we already have finishers! The North Country National Scenic Trail (NCNST), the longest of our country’s National Scenic Trails, offers a wealth of 2016-NPSCentennial-logo-lgnatural beauty throughout its 4,600 miles.

We invite scouting groups, their families and friends to join the celebration of the National Park Service’s Centennial Anniversary in 2016 by completing the NCNST Hike 100 Challenge.

You may even be inspired to combine your mileage with stewardship projects or other activities towards earning scout badges!

Looking into completing the 1150 miles of michigans portion of the NCT.
I’m interested in more info. E.g. Permit cost for national park camping along the way. Campfires and rules for side arm (hand gun) for protection purposes only.
    Thank you for your time.
    Michael

Is this challenge only open to Scouts and families? Can NCT member sign up and track?

Is there a Girl Scout specific promotional flyer available for this program?
