Central patch + Michigan, Mackinac Bridge, and 1000 miles

“You just never know.”

I have always enjoyed hiking and walking. I did a Trail Angel ride for a group of hikers near my hometown of Marshall, Michigan. They invited me to hike with them the following day, and the day after. Before I knew it, I had hiked all 622 miles of the lower peninsula of Michigan, ending at the Mackinac Bridge with them. My journey continued with friends I had met along the way, all 555 miles across the upper peninsula of Michigan. To everyone I shared this amazing, incredible, unlikely adventure with, it was awesome! See you on the trail soon!
