Come join a fun and social group of hikers and chase some blue blazes on the North Country Trail. Your hike leader is Al, a member of the Brule St. Croix Chapter of the North Country Tail Association.

We will meet at the Gaylord Nelson portal at 9:00 a.m. and carpool to Highland Town Hall. Please do not miss the chance to see to the world’s heaviest ball of twine assembled by James Frank Kotera near the transfer station.

We will hike approximately 5.0 miles from the Highland Town Hall Trailhead back to the Gaylord Nelson Portal. It’s a beautiful section of trail through pine plantation, woods, and Motts Ravine State Natural Area.

Please bring whatever you need to hike, like water, snacks, trekking poles, bug spray, sunscreen, etc.
