Events

Join the Brule-St. Croix Chapter of the NCTA as they gather with partners to help celebrate the completion of the new State Line Trailhead and new NCT segment. The event will feature morning refreshments, speakers, a ribbon cutting, and guided hikes of varying lengths.

9:00am – Gather at the Wild Valley Rd. Trailhead (click here for a map) for anyone who wants to participate in the long group hike. Shuttles will be provided to State Line Trailhead every 15 minutes with the last shuttle departing at 9:45am.

9:00-10:00am – Gather at the State Line Trailhead (click here for a map) for light refreshments and NCT information.

If you intend to participate in the longest hike, please park at the Wild Valley Rd. trailhead and get shuttled back to the State Line Trailhead.

10:00am – Formal Grand Opening program followed by a ribbon cutting photo-op.

11:00am – Group hikes leave from the State Line Trailhead. Options include:

* Hiking south (NCT East) on the White Property to where the NCT leaves the old RR loop (about 1.2 miles round trip). Click here for a map.

* Hiking north (NCT West) across the Enbridge property toward the MN-WI archway (about 2.4 miles to the arch and back). Click here for a map.
