The NCTA Grand Traverse Hiking Club Chapter will have its usual December outing at the Muncie Lakes Pathway. We will ski, hike, or snowshoe, depending on the trail conditions. There will be no regular meeting at the Boardman River Nature Center in December.

The Muncie Lakes Pathway trailhead is on Ranch Rudolf Road, 0.7 miles east of Rennie Lake Road.

The long hike will be either five or six miles, depending on what everyone wants to do. We’ll meet at the trailhead at 1:00 p.m. The short hike will be two miles, starting at 2:00 p.m. Hopefully everyone will finish at about the same time and we can all go to dinner at Peegeos at around 4:00 p.m. If you would like to skip the hike altogether, you can meet us at Peegeos (525 High Lake Road, Traverse City, MI).
