NCTA Jordan Valley 45° Chapter Volunteer Appreciation Hike and Lunch

• Near Boyne Falls, all welcome
• Giem Road and U.S. 131 to Kuzmic and Camp 10 Roads (just off Thumb Lake Road)

For the hike, at 9:30, we will gather at the hike’s end at Camp 10 Rd. (just South of Thumb Lake Rd., mile marker 646.75). At 10:00 we will ferry hikers to the hikes start at the railroad crossing on Giem Rd. (mile 653.25, just east of US 131) and then head out. Total hike ~ 6.25 miles. (Mile markers)

This section is hilly, mostly dry and is a mix of woods trail, two-tracks and roads. Dress for the weather. Afterwards, there is a volunteer appreciation lunch at the Chandler Township Hall (7620 Chandler Hill Road, Boyne Falls) around 2 p.m. All are welcome to hike without stopping for lunch, or just come for lunch without hiking.

Please join us to express our appreciation to those who volunteer their time and resources to support the JV45° segment of the NCT. Kevin Whitley will be cooking chili and brats.
