First Trail Work Day of 2025
We invite you to join the Allegheny National Forest Chapter for our first trail work day of 2025 on Sat, Feb 22!
Our meeting time is 10 AM at the Kellettville Tionesta bridge parking. The parking lot is located on the south side of the bridge over the Tionesta Creek on Branch Rd at N 41° 32.697’ W 79° 15.323’ (41.54495, -79.25538). It is directly across from the Army Corp campground entrance. You can also follow this link to the spot on the NCTA interactive map or on Google Maps.
We’ll be working on clearing the trail of winter blowdowns and doing some drainage work.
Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, and bring your own water, food, and work gloves. All tools are provided and no special skills are needed. We encourage people new to trail work to come out and give back to the trail. There will be a job for you and a person to teach you what to do. Remember that “many hands make light work”.
