Amsler Spring Trailhead Workday
Join the Allegheny National Forest Chapter for our second April trail work day! Our meeting time is 10 AM on Saturday, April 26 at the Amsler Spring Trailhead. The Trailhead is located along Salmon Creek Rd, FR 145, about 1 ¼ miles north of Guitonville Rd.

We will doing clearing work. We will also tear down and rebuild the Amsler Spring kiosk, along with constructing a new log box.
Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, and bring your own water, food, and work gloves. All tools are provided and no special skills are needed. We encourage people new to trail work to come out and give back to the trail. There will be a job for you and a person to teach you what to do. Remember that “many hands make light work”. Hope to see you there!

– Sat, May 17 & Sun, May 18 – Rt 321 Sugar Bay TH on Saturday and Rt 321 Chappel Bay TH on Sunday – Mowing, brush cutting and clearing as final preparation for A-100
– Sat, May 31 & Sun, June 1 – Minister Rd TH on Saturday and Amsler Springs TH on Sunday – Mowing, brush cutting, and clearing as final preparation for A-100; staining kiosks
