Join the Allegheny National Forest Chapter for our first May trail work day on Sun, May 4!

Our meeting time is 10 AM at the Rt 948 Cherry Run Trailhead. The Trailhead is located about 3 miles SE of the intersection of Rt 666 and Rt 948. Look for the sign to tell you to turn off of Rt 948 to get to the NCT trail head, GPS coordinates N 41° 38.069’ W 078° 59.861’.

We’ll be working on clearing trail, paint blazing, staining signs and log boxes, and drainage.

Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, and bring your own water, food, and work gloves. All tools are provided and no special skills are needed. We encourage people new to trail work to come out and give back to the trail. There will be a job for you and a person to teach you what to do. Remember that “many hands make light work”.
