Join the Allegheny National Forest Chapter on Sunday, June 1st as we prepare the southern 50 miles for the Allegheny-100 Hiking Challenge.

For both days, meet no later than 10AM.

We’ll be working on clearing and brushing, along with a few small projects.

On Sunday, June 1st, the meeting spot is at the Amsler Spring Trailhead. The Trailhead is located along Salmon Creek Rd, FR 145, about 1 ¼ miles north of Guitonville Rd at N 41° 28.197’ W 79° 11.951’ You can also follow this link to the spot on the NCTA interactive map or on Google Maps.

Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, and bring your own water, food, and work gloves. All tools are provided and no special skills are needed. We encourage people new to trail work to come out and give back to the trail. There will be a job for you and a person to teach you what to do. Remember that “many hands make light work”.
