Last Trail Work Day of 2024!
Meet with the Allegheny National Forest Chapter at 10am on Sunday, Nov 3 at the FR 116, Dunham Siding Trailhead.
The trailhead is located along FR 116, Mayburg Rd, about ¼ mile south of Hearts Content Rd, SR 2002. Coordinates are N 41°40.274’ W 079° 13.584’ (41.671222 -79.226389). You can also follow this link to the spot on the NCTA interactive map or in Google Maps.
Plans for the day include drainage work and clearing brush.
Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, and bring your own water, food, and work gloves. All tools are provided and no special skills are needed. We encourage people new to trail work to come out and give back to the trail. There will be a job for you and a person to teach you what to do. Remember that “many hands make light work”.
