November Guided Hike
Join the Allegheny National Forest Chapter for a hike through the beautiful Queen Creek Valley!
Our meeting time is 10 AM on Sunday, Nov 10 at the Dunham Siding Trailhead. The trailhead is located along FR 116, Mayburg Rd, about ¼ mile south of Hearts Content Rd, SR 2002. Coordinates are N 41°40.274’ W 079° 13.584’ (41.671222 -79.226389). You can also follow this link to the spot on the NCTA interactive map or in Google Maps.
It is about 6 miles to hike to the Coalbed Creek campsite and back, 13.4 miles to go as far as FR 449 and back. The length of the hike can be adjusted based on the desires of the participants.
Please come prepared for the hike dressed in appropriate layers for the weather, and carrying your own food and water. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome. We hope to see you down the trail!
