Join the Wampum Chapter for a hike in Hells Hollow, a challenging 7-mile out and back hike with about 1,400 ft of ascents (avg hikes ascend about 500 ft) along part of the wonderfully scenic Slippery Rock Gorge (NCT) trail. You will traverse hills, enjoy views from along the ridgeline, and descend the gorge to Slippery Rock Creek.

On the return trip, you can choose to take a short and easy diversion near the trailhead to experience Hells Hollow Falls.

Proper Footwear is important and Trekking poles are helpful. Bring water and bring snacks if desired.

After the hike, you are also welcome to unwind with us at Ben Franklin’s Taproom and Grill, which is only 8 minutes away on RT422. They have great food and 30 beers on tap in a rustic atmosphere.
