Join the NCTA Allegheny National Forest Chapter as we prepare the trail for the Allegheny 100 Hiking Challenge.
We’ll meet no later than 10:00 a.m. We’ll be working on clearing and brushing, along with a few small projects. Meet at the Red Bridge Trailhead, on Route 321 just north of the bridge, 9.4 miles south of Route 59 and 9 miles north of Kane.
Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, and bring your own water, food, and work gloves. All tools are provided and no special skills are needed. We encourage people new to trail work to come out and give back to the trail. There will be a job for you and a person to teach you what to do. Remember that “many hands make light work.” Hope to see you there!
