Events

This hike with the NCTA Chief Baw Beese Chapter will be a luminary-lit night hike along the St. Joe River. We will start at Fireman’s Park and hike to the Herring Road trailhead and back.

Hike is dog and family-friendly. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Please dress warm and bring a head lamp. This hike will take place under a new moon, so prepare for it to be a dark, hopefully star-filled night in which luminaries (and headlamps) will guide our way. This section of Trail is a natural trail along the river and through woods and swamp.

There are restrooms available at the parking lot. Please dress warm and bring a head lamp. Cell phone service and wifi are available. No fees for parking or the event.
