Join the Border Route Trail Association (BRTA) on a multi-day maintenance trip! We will drive up to Grand Marais (Minn.) then to Rockwood Lodge for parking. We will backpack in to set up a basecamp at the campsite on the southeast bay of South Lake.

On Saturday, clearing will be done on the South Lake Trail between the wilderness boundary to the South Lake camp. Clearing will continue Sunday, including the 1.2-mile segment of the Border Route Trail from the South Lake Trail east to the junction with the Partridge Camp Trail. The crew will hike out on Monday and return home.
