A great kick-off to the NCTA Brule-St. Croix Chapter‘s spring hike schedule: an eight-mile hike led by Peter Nordgren, founding member of the Brule-St. Croix Chapter. Attendees will meet at the Lake Ruth Trailhead and hike to Erick Lake campsite, and return. The Erick Lake campsite is a beautiful spot in the woods looking out over the lake. You will also see the Bob Norlin Overlook.

Bring what you like to have along when you hike (e.g. trekking poles, water, snack, bug spray, sunscreen, etc.) and please RSVP at meetup.com/sscbhikers.

The trailhead is five miles south of Iron River, Wisc. along Bayfield County Highway A (GPS coordinates: 46.4946433, -91.4385870).
