The Buckeye Trail Association (BTA) will be hosting the first of its kind presentation at The Adventure Summit, an “Ohio Trail Towns” discussion: “Adventure Starts on a Trail in Your Town.”

The BTA would like to spark conversation with interested individuals and agencies regarding the idea of an Ohio Trail Town Program. This could help further the goal that the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and stakeholders recommended in their 2019 Ohio Trails Vision document: “Establish an Ohio Trails Town program that provides a process for recognition and guidelines for best management practices for recognition of communities that support world-class trails and provide resources to people interested in exploring new business opportunities catering to trail users.” (2019 Ohio Trails Vision/Plan)

Our agenda will consist of four one-hour conversations set aside from the rest of the Adventure Summit exhibitions and inspiring speakers.

The Adventure Summit is the area’s premier outdoor adventure exposition that will focus attention on Dayton as the Outdoor Adventure Capital of the Midwest. The event is free and open to outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and interest levels.
