The Buckeye Trail Association‘s (BTA) Appalachian Foothills Chapter is excited to play co-host to our 10th Annual Buckeye TrailFest! We are going to show off the beauty and richness of the region surrounding Shawnee State Park and Forest and The Nature Conservancy’s Edge of Appalachia Preserve.

Whether you are local or from a more distant part of the state, you are sure to have a fantastic time! You will wish it was longer! The Appalachian Foothills Chapter is the newest BTA Chapter and encompasses the Buckeye Trail (BT) sections of Sinking Springs, Scioto Trail, Shawnee, and West Union. Join the Buckeye Trail Association and hikers from around Ohio for led and self-led hikes on the Buckeye Trail and other trails. Learn from the Trail Crew what it takes to build and maintain the trail on the BT. Meet other hikers and trail maintainers during a weekend of hiking, workshops, presentations, and conversation around the campfire.
