Join members of the Butler County Chapter and volunteers from Hope Luteran Church, Cranberry, as they spruce up the Trail on a National Trails Day hike.

Meet 9am under and west of the 528 bridge for a 2.5 mile hike with light trail maintenance. Dress for weather, bring water, snacks, and loppers if you have them. (Some loppers will be available to use to trim multiflora rose and any encroaching branches.) Wear sturdy boots or shoes; the trail may be muddy. We will hike west along the lake to the North Country Trail, up the hill to a junction, and then down the hill back to the lake and bridge.

From Rt 422 go to the Prospect, PA exit and then go several miles N on Rt 528 crossing the 528 bridge over Lake Arthur. Turn right to Moraine State Park 528 bridge launch. Park on western side of the bridge.
