Join the NCTA Central New York Chapter on this slow, quiet hike on a section of the Link Trail of Madison County, from Damon Road, a half-mile south to the beaver dam complex.

This is late spring bird migration time so we’ll see how many birds we can identify by sight and sound. A clear-cut adjacent to the trail may bring in some additional species. Bring binoculars and any identification keys you like (e.g. books, birding apps).

• Distance: About one mile roundtrip
• Meeting Time and Location: 8:00 a.m. at the parking lot on Damon Road in New Woodstock, where the Link Trail crosses (2.4 miles east of Route 13 in New Woodstock)
