Events

The NCTA Grand Traverse Chapter will have its usual December outing at the Muncie Lakes Pathway. We will ski, hike, or snowshoe, depending on the trail conditions, so please bring the appropriate gear (skis, traction devices, snowshoes, poles).

There will be no regular Chapter meeting at the Boardman River Nature Center in December.

The long hike will be either 5 or 6 miles, depending on what everyone wants to do. We’ll meet at the trailhead at 1:00 p.m. The short hike will be 2 miles, starting at 2:00 p.m. Hopefully everyone will finish at about the same time and we can all go to dinner at Peegeo’s at around 4:00 p.m. If you would like to skip the hike altogether, you can meet us at Peegeo’s (525 High Lake Road, Traverse City, MI).

Location: 44°39’26.3″N 85°27’01.4″W. (The Muncie Lakes Pathway trailhead is on Ranch Rudolf Road, 0.7 miles east of Rennie Lake Road.)
