Wisconsin Roving Trail Crew Work Week
The NCTA Wisconsin Roving Trail Crew, “the Rovers,” is a group of volunteers from a variety of NCTA Chapters. In 2024, the group will be spending the majority (if not all) of the 2024 season opening the Foster Falls / Potato River corridor (8+ miles), building trail tread, constructing bridges throughout, and possibly building some stone stairs as well. Swimming in the falls (both Foster and/or Wren) as water temperatures allow will be a highlight. This work area falls within the NCTA Heritage Chapter area.
Join us this May to continue opening the trail corridor and roughing in trail at Foster Falls / Quiet Pines Camp near Gurney. There will be no structure construction while we wait for spring thaw to finish and drier conditions.
