Join NCTA Spirit of the Woods Chapter for a hike from the Bear Track group campground parking area starting on a spur and joining the North Country Trail. We will hike north on the North Country Trail and hike through the Dead Horse Marsh (on a boardwalk above the marsh) and beyond. Distance will be dependent on hiker’s preferences and the conditions on the day of the hike. Depending on trail conditions, you may need traction devices on your boots.

The location is west of the town of Irons on Riverside Drive. To get to the meeting place, make the turn into the Bear Track campground and follow the road. The regular campground will be on your right, but gated and closed. Follow the road to the parking lot for the group campground.
