This will be an out-and-back hike with our Spirit of the Woods Chapter going south on the North Country Trail. You can customize the distance and count the miles toward your Hike 100 challenge.

We’ll meet and park on Mac Road near Five Mile Road in Irons, Michigan. This is at approximately milepost 841.75 on the NCTA online ArcGIS maps. You can find a map link here.

We can stop for drinks and snacks (or ice cream!) after the hike at the nearby newly re-opened Sweet Fern, 7595 W 5 Mile Road, Irons. Click here for a Google map to Sweet Fern.
