The NCTA Spirit of the Woods Chapter is hosting a hike on Saturday, August 6. We will meet at 10:00 am. at [approximately] Milepost 792.

The hike will be a northbound hike starting at the Upper River Road trailhead east of Brethren, Mich. (accessed from Coates Highway). There is no Forest Service fee for this parking area. We will take the connector trail to the North Country National Scenic Trail. The distance will be five to eight miles. This is an out-and-back hike so your distance will depend on what point you want to turn around.
