Please join the NCTA Spirit of the Woods Chapter for a hike on North Country National Scenic Trail Day on National Public Lands Day. This will take place on Saturday, September 23 at 10:00 a.m. Our hike leader is Monica Hatch.

This will be an out-and-back hike going north on the North Country Trail from the Nichols Lake North trailhead. If you do the full hike to Highbanks Lake and return, it will be about 8 to 9 miles. But you can customize your distance since it’s out-and-back.

We will meet and park at Nichols Lake north trailhead. This is approximately at the Michigan NCNST Mile 882 on the NCTA online ArcGIS map. See Google Map driving directions here.
