October Hike, Spirit of the Woods Chapter

On October 7 at 10:00 a.m., the NCTA Spirit of the Woods Chapter invites you to an October hike on the North Country National Scenic Trail.
The trailhead meeting spot will be at the Freesoil Road trailhead, east of the town of Freesoil. (Michigan NCNST Mile 835.25 on Avenza maps. See Google Map driving directions here.) We will go north from the trailhead and see some of the work that was done this summer to create new boardwalk sections.
This will be an out-and-back hike of approximately 5 miles, although you can add miles to make it longer. The leader will be Loren Bach: spw@northcountrytrail.org or 231-510-1983.
