The Spirit of the Woods Chapter (Northern MI) October Hike will be Saturday, October 12 at 10 am at Highbanks Rollway. This segment is in the Grand Traverse Chapter‘s area, near the towns of Buckley and Kingsley, MI. By having the hike the second Saturday, we are hoping that the fall colors around Traverse City are vivid!

See this area on the online interactive map here. The milepost is at 769.5. This link will give you a Google Map for driving directions to the trailhead. The area has beautiful views of the Manistee River, and is hilly. This will be an out-and-back hike. The hike leader is Gary Hearing. Please RSVP to 1trailrat@gmail.com or call/text 231-233-9068.
