Hike with Spirit of the Woods Chapter on Saturday, December 7 at 10 am. We will host a group hike starting at the Timber Creek Trailhead and hope you join us as we wrap up our 2024 hiking season. (Note: The trailhead is at the end of the small road into the campground).

It’s more than a hike, let’s feast! Our chapter will provide a cozy campfire with hot water and cocoa mix. Please bring your favorite mug, lawn chair and a yummy snack to share. We can swap fun 2024 trail stories and start dreaming about our 2025 plans.

‘Tis the season for sharing so we would love all participants (if you like) to bring an unwrapped gift and we will donate them to the local Toys for Tots and Gifts for Teens program.

The hike leader is Monica Hatch. Please RSVP to Monica at mlhatch8@hotmail.com or 231-690-5090 (call or text). If we should be so lucky as to have snow, you may find it helpful to have traction devices on your shoes.

These North Country Trail miles can be counted for the Hike 100 Challenge.

The distance will depend on weather, snow cover, and participants, but will be probably be about 6 miles in dry weather. In case of bad weather, please contact Monica or check our Facebook page for updated details.
