Come hike with the NCTA Wampum Chapter under the full moon and listen to the sounds of the night!

This is a moderate to difficult, out-and-back hike (five miles). We will start at the Pancake-Clarkson Road trailhead and hike through the Sheepskin Hollow Nature Preserve, turning around at the Pappy Z shelter. Once there, we will take a short break at the shelter, warming by a fire and enjoying the moonlight.

A headlight is a must to hike safely. Please bring plenty of water and a snack. Wear appropriate hiking boots/shoes, and hiking sticks are helpful. We will hit the trail promptly at 5:00 p.m. Please arrive early enough to sign in. We’ve obtained a special permit to hike through the preserve after hours. However, the hike is limited to 10 hikers to comply with ODNR permit requirements. Please be certain that you can participate to ensure all slots are filled.
