Join the NCTA Wampum Chapter for the Pioneer Days Hike! The hike will meet at Dogwood Trail parking to avoid festival traffic. We will start promptly at 8:00 a.m. Arrive a little early to get signed in and ready to hike. This is a moderate rated, 6-mile out-and-back trail.

We will start on the upper Vondergreen Trail and hike to Gretchen’s Lock parking. There we will grab a quick snack, catch our breath a bit, then head back. Returning, we will use the Vondergreen Trail to Lower Vondergreen, to reach the Echo Dell bridge. Your choice at the bridge: Cross and enjoy some of the festival (self-guided) or return to parking and finish the hike.

Please make sure to wear proper footwear. Hiking poles are helpful on this section. Bring plenty of water and a snack.
