Join the NCTA Western Michigan Chapter for a trail work day in northern Newaygo County. We will be doing a reroute on a portion of the NCNST just south of the Nichols Lake Campground. Depending on the number of participants, there may be some finish-up work needed on Sunday, May 1, but we will not know until we see how Saturday goes.

Bring your lunch, snacks, and plenty to drink. Also have gloves, leather boots, long-sleeve shirts and pants, and rain gear. Dress in layers if it’s chilly out. Ticks and mosquitos will be out so plan accordingly. We will be doing log and tree removal, grubbing, digging, and general trail construction activities, so plan on getting dirty.
