Come join the Allegheny National Forest Chapter as we ring in the New Year with our annual First Day Hike!

We will be traveling north on an out-and-back hike toward the Chappel Fork Shelter and those who are interested can continue on toward Chappel Bay Campsite.

We’ll meet on Jan 1 at 10am at the Red Bridge Trailhead. The trailhead is located on Rt 321 just north of the bridge, 9.4 miles south of Rt 59, and 9 mi north of Kane. Coordinates: N 41° 46.542’ W 078° 53.066’. You can also follow this link to the the NCTA interactive map.

Please come prepared for the hike dressed in appropriate layers for the weather, and carrying your own food and water.
