Join the Allegheny National Forest Chapter for a Night Hike heading south from Rt 59 to Rt 321 and back.
Our meeting time is 6:30 PM, Saturday, April 20th at the Rt 59 Trailhead. The trailhead is located about 2.25 miles west of Rt 321 South and about 5 miles east of the Wolf Run Marina. Coordinates are N 41° 51.443’ W 078° 51.582’. You can also follow this link to the spot on the NCTA interactive map or click here for Google Maps.
We will do an out-and-back hike south on the NCT. It is about 5.4 miles to go to the fifth stream crossing and back; about 9.4 miles to go to Chappel Bay and return or 13.4 to go to Rt 321 and back. The length of the hike can be adjusted based on the desires of the participants.
Please come prepared for the hike dressed in appropriate layers for the weather, and carrying your own food and water.
