Events

Meet up with the Butler County Chapter at the Kohlmeyer Rd trail head (state game land parking lot). We will hike to the Glass Blowing Center, where we will see a glass blowing demonstration.  We will have an opportunity to purchase items made at the center.

Bring your own snack or packed lunch.  There are picnic tables and restroom facilities available.  This out-and-back hike is 6 miles total, 3 miles out and 3 miles back.

Directions:  From Butler Clearview Mall, travel North on 308 toward West Sunbury for 8.5 miles, turn right onto Branchton Road for 2.4 miles, turn left onto Kohlmeyer Road, travel approx 1 mile when you will cross a bridge and the parking lot will be on the right. *Be sure to dress for the weather, bring water, and snack or lunch.  Wear a pair of sturdy hiking shoes or boots.  Trail conditions could be wet or muddy; bring a set of hiking poles if needed.  Space is limited, you must register for this hike.  Please send an email with the name of the hike, your name, email, and telephone number to but@northcountrytrail.org to sign up!
