Trail Maintenance Hike with the Butler County Chapter.

We will meet at Higgins Corners Trailhead and hike the trail to remove an old bridge and downed limbs, cut back multiflora rose, and blaze the trail. Bring a pair of work gloves a pair of loppers if you have one or a pair of pruning shears if you have those.

From Moniteau High School: Take 308 North to Branchton Road turn left on Higgins Road.  Parking along road and at Y at the corner. Click here for a Google Maps link.

Be sure to dress for the weather, bring water, and a snack.  Wear a pair of sturdy hiking shoes or boots.  Trail conditions could be wet or muddy, bring a set of hiking poles if needed.
