Our Dakota Prairie Chapter is sponsoring an urban hike!

This urban hike is a 1.24-mile groomed trail in a wooded area along the river and historic orchard in south Fargo. Park Forester Sam DeMarais will join North Country Trail leaders to share a brief history of the park, an overview of the newly planted fruit trees and prairie restoration in the area.

Interested hikers will have an option to extend the outing for an additional a 2.1 mile “lollypop” hike from Orchard Glen to the Forest River area.
The hike will be led by Jan Ulferts and Jim Stewart, experienced hikers from the Dakota Prairie Chapter of the North Country Trail Association.

Meet at the Orchard Glen Parking Lot.
