Join the NCTA Dakota Prairie Chapter on a hike, starting at the Ekre trailhead. We will hike the Ekre Loop Trail, which is an easy, two-mile hike.

The theme is “Special Places Off-Trail.” Discover places off the Trail that you might not have seen before.

At the start of the hike, the Chapter will thank all the healthcare providers and First Responders who have endured so much during these last two years of the pandemic.

Please RSVP. Plan on the Trail being muddy, and the possibility of some snow still on the trail. Boots will be needed.

Albert Ekre Grassland Preserve: Travel west on Highway 46 from I-29. Turn south on Highway 18 and travel five miles south. The trailhead will be on the east side of the road, just after crossing the Sheyenne River. (GPS coordinates: 46.554456, -97.137647)
