The NCTA Dakota Prairie Chapter is offering a self-guided hike opportunity to explore the NCNST in North Dakota.
Hike the 2.5-mile loop through the Ekre Grassland Preserve at any time from March 31 through April 9. Learn about nature, history, and the North Country National Scenic Trail. The Ekre Grassland Preserve is near Kindred, North Dakota. Travel on Highway 46 to Highway 18. Turn south on Highway 18 and travel five miles. Just after crossing the Sheyenne River, turn left and the trailhead will be immediately on the right.
