Join the NCTA Central Flyway Chapter and hike with the opportunity to observe the Chinook salmon run at Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery.

The two hike options include:

  1. Hike approximately 5 miles from the Lake Sakakawea State Park visitors center to the Fish Hatchery Visitors Center.
  2. Hike 2.5 miles from the fish cleaning station to the Hatchery Visitors Center.

Shuttles will be provided back to your car. Pets are welcome, but must be leashed and owners need to be prepared to clean up after their pet.

Meet at either the State Park Visitors Center or the fish cleaning station depending upon which option you want to hike. Both are located near Pick City, North Dakota.
